Workstation for AI and compute

This liquid-cooled tower workstation centres on a 24-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9965WX processor and an Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU with 96GB of memory. The combination targets professionals running large-scale AI training, rendering or simulation workloads that demand both high core counts and massive GPU memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory for data integrity.

Build integration and expansion

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides four M.2 slots, eight SATA ports and extensive USB connectivity including USB4 Type-C. Three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives deliver 10TB of fast storage alongside a 10TB SATA hard drive. The Corsair 5000D Frame case offers internal bays for additional 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives and dual front-panel USB 3.0 plus USB 3.1 Type-C ports.

Thermals noise and power

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while a Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 1600W 80+ Titanium power supply with a 140mm fan delivers efficient, low-noise power. The case includes front and rear 120mm fans to maintain airflow across the GPU and motherboard. This cooling arrangement keeps the 24-core processor and high-end GPU stable under sustained heavy loads.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Threadripper PRO 9965WX at full boost during long renders?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for the 24-core CPU with up to 5.3 GHz boost; sustained loads are managed by the liquid loop and the case airflow.

How loud is the 1600 W Titanium PSU and the case fans when the system runs 24/7?

The Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan and the Corsair 5000D includes front and rear 120 mm fans for low-noise operation.

Does the motherboard provide enough M.2 slots for the three Samsung 990 PRO drives already installed?

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D has four M.2 connectors; three are occupied by the 2 TB and two 4 TB NVMe SSDs, leaving one free.
