Target Workloads

The Adamant Custom workstation pairs a 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX with an RTX PRO 5000 48GB GPU and 128GB DDR5 ECC memory. It is built for professionals running large-scale simulation, rendering or AI training workloads that demand high core counts and certified driver stability.

Build and Connectivity

A 360 mm liquid cooler and a 1600 W 80+ Titanium power supply support sustained loads in a Corsair 5000D Frame case with tempered glass. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides two LAN ports, multiple USB4 and USB 3.2 Type-C connections, eight SATA ports and four M.2 slots for the installed Samsung 990 PRO drives.

Upgrade Perspective

This system replaces older dual-socket workstations or single-threaded render nodes where memory bandwidth and GPU VRAM limited dataset size. The jump is worth it when projects exceed 64 GB RAM or require 48 GB VRAM for single-GPU compute, and when ECC memory is mandatory for data integrity.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD use and what sequential speeds does it cap at?

The Samsung 990 PRO drives run on PCIe 4.0x4 and reach up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write.

What are the exact case dimensions and which motherboard form factor fits inside the Corsair 5000D FRAME?

The case measures 520 x 245 x 520 mm and houses the GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard on the sTR5 socket.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted and which orientation mistake should be avoided?

The 360 mm radiator mounts to the case with fans pushing air through it; installing the pump higher than the radiator top can trap air and reduce cooling.
