SKU CH-XA3P-61SA5 MPN ADD10FCAT6ABK

A 10 ft Cat6a UTP patch cable with RJ-45 male connectors for wired network links

  • 10 ft length gives flexible placement for desk-to-wall runs
  • Cat6a rating supports 10 Gbps bandwidth over the full distance
  • RJ-45 male connectors on both ends plug straight into any port
  • Pure copper conductors reduce signal loss compared to CCA alternatives
  • Black jacket resists visible scuffs in high-traffic areas

10 ft Cat6a patch cable

The AddOn ADD10FCAT6ABK is a 10 ft Cat6a UTP patch cable with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. It is built for wired Ethernet connections in home, office or data-centre environments. The black jacket provides a clean appearance in visible runs.

Shielded-free UTP construction

The unshielded twisted-pair design reduces bulk and weight compared with shielded alternatives, making the cable easier to route through tight cable trays or around corners. No additional grounding hardware is required for standard installations.

Suits Gigabit and 10GBASE-T links

This length works well for desk-to-switch or patch-panel connections where 10 ft reaches without excess slack. Installers needing longer runs, outdoor ratings or shielded cables for high-EMI areas should select a different specification.

Questions about this item

Will the RJ-45 connectors on this 10 ft cable need replacement after repeated plugging?

The cable uses standard RJ-45 male connectors rated for typical insertion cycles; no user-serviceable parts are inside, so replacement is only needed if a clip breaks or pins bend.

What limit appears first when running 10 Gbps traffic continuously through this Cat6a patch cable?

At 10 ft the length is well within the Cat6a channel allowance, so the practical limit is the 10 Gbps rating of the connected ports rather than the cable itself.

Does the cable generate noticeable heat or require extra power when used all day at full speed?

Passive copper patch cables draw no external power and produce no measurable heat during continuous 10 Gbps operation.
