The AddOn FTLX1471D3BCL-AO is a hot-swappable SFP+ transceiver built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. It plugs into a standard SFP+ port and links the switch or router to a multimode fiber network. The module is factory programmed for Finisar® compatibility and initialises identically to the OEM part. Network engineers can mix it with other OEM or third-party transceivers without configuration changes.

Sustained 10 Gbps throughput over 220 metres

The transceiver operates at a 1310 nm wavelength and supports a maximum reach of 220 metres on multimode fiber. It is rated for 10GBase-LR performance, delivering continuous line-rate traffic rather than short bursts. Digital optical monitoring allows the host system to track signal quality in real time. The LC duplex connector ensures a secure physical link for extended runs.

Low heat and silent operation in normal use

As a passive optical module it draws minimal power and generates negligible heat inside the chassis. No onboard fan means the device adds no audible noise to the rack.
