The AddOn FTLX8571D3BCV-AO is a hot-swappable SFP+ module built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over 850 nm multi-mode fibre. It targets network engineers who need a Finisar-compatible, TAA-compliant optic for short-reach uplinks in enterprise switches and routers. The LC duplex interface plugs directly into standard SFP+ cages without tools. It is not suited for single-mode infrastructure or reaches beyond 300 metres.

Operating range 0 to 70 °C with DOM

The module is rated for an ambient temperature span of 0 to 70 °C and includes digital optical monitoring so the host system can track real-time temperature, voltage, bias current and optical power. Because it draws power from the SFP+ slot itself, no external supply is required and acoustic impact is limited to the host chassis airflow.
