Fixed-focus 5.0 MP document camera

The Adesso Cybertrack520 is a fixed-focus camera scanner with a 5.0 MP CMOS sensor that captures A4 pages, books, magazines and photos from above. It connects to a computer and includes OCR software that converts printed text into editable files. The down-facing lens lets users place items on a desk and scan without a flatbed.

Suited for single-page capture, not batch feeding

This scanner suits teachers, students and office workers who need quick digital copies of single pages or bound material and want searchable text output. It does not have an automatic document feeder, so users who regularly scan multi-page stacks should look at a sheet-fed or flatbed model instead.

5.0 MP CMOS sensor resolution

The 5.0 MP CMOS sensor determines the level of detail captured for text recognition and image archiving. Buyers who need higher resolution for fine print or large-format originals will need a scanner with a greater pixel count.
