Black professional-grade electrical tape on a 1.5-inch core, UL/CSA listed for 600 V and 176 °F, 66 ft roll, 7 mil thick
This professional grade electrical tape is built from plasticized PVC film with a rubber resin adhesive for reliable insulation and colour coding. The roll measures 66 feet in length and is individually cello-wrapped on a 1.5 inch core. It carries UL/CSA listing for use at no more than 600V and 176F.
As a passive adhesive tape the product generates no heat, emits no noise and draws no electrical power during normal use. Its flame retardant and cold resistant PVC carrier maintains performance across temperature extremes without active cooling. The rubber based adhesive remains stable at the rated 176F maximum operating temperature.
The tape is listed for applications up to 600 volts and 176 degrees Fahrenheit, making it suitable for general purpose wiring, splicing and phase identification. Buyers who need a higher voltage rating or a different temperature class should select a tape with those specific certifications. The 7 mil thickness and 11 available colours support colour coding but do not change the voltage or temperature limits.

Mount the roll on a spindle that matches the 1.5 in. core, pull the tape taut while wrapping, and press each overlap firmly so the rubber resin adhesive bonds before tension relaxes.
Replace the tape once the rubber resin adhesive loses tack or the PVC backing shows cracking, which typically occurs after prolonged exposure to temperatures near the 176F rating or UV light.
The 176F temperature rating is the first limit reached under sustained 600V load, as insulation resistance drops once the PVC approaches its maximum operating temperature.
