Non-invasive temple measurement

This digital thermometer reads temperature at the temple without contact inside the ear or mouth. It suits parents checking a sleeping baby and adults who want a quick, hygienic check. The large display shows the result in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. An audible tone signals when the reading is finished.

Home users wanting speed and simplicity

Buyers who need a probe for oral, rectal or under-arm use should look at a different style. Clinical staff who require a calibrated tympanic or continuous-monitoring device will not find those functions here. The single-button design limits advanced logging or multi-patient memory features.

Last-reading memory recall

The unit stores the most recent measurement so you can compare the current value with the previous one. Auto-off conserves the battery between uses. Model 720 is supplied in white; packaging may vary.

Questions about this item

Does the Adtemp 720 thermometer need any special mounting or fitting to use on the temple?

No special mount is required; the 427 model is a handheld device that simply touches the temple for a reading.

Insert the battery with the correct polarity, then close the cover fully; the step often missed is ensuring the cover clicks shut so the auto-off function works.
