Travel adapter pack for Apple chargers

This two-piece set replaces the detachable duck-head plug on Apple white power bricks so they fit European wall sockets. It is aimed at owners of MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iOS devices who travel to countries using the EU plug standard. Each adapter snaps onto the existing charger without tools.

Rated 110-380V AC at .545A

The adapters accept the full 110 to 380 volt AC range supplied by the original Apple power block, passing through the same .545 amp limit. They add no voltage conversion or surge protection, so the connected charger must already support the local mains voltage. High-draw appliances beyond the rated current are not supported.

Direct swap for the original US duck-head

The pair replaces the North American two-pin plug that ships with Apple laptops and USB power bricks, letting the same brick work on type C, E or F European outlets. The upgrade is worthwhile when travelling to Europe or relocating there; it does not help in regions using UK, Australian or other non-EU socket types.
