Four-Channel UHF Wireless System

The Aegis Security system delivers four independent UHF channels in the 500 MHz to 580 MHz band with a carrier stability of 0.006 %. It includes four lavalier microphones, four headset microphones and four bodypack transmitters, each powered by two 1.5 V batteries for up to eight hours of operation. The receiver provides four balanced XLR outputs and one unbalanced 6.35 mm mixed output for flexible routing.

Sustained Operation Across All Channels

Each channel features its own volume control so levels stay consistent during long sessions without cross-channel interference. The signal-to-noise ratio of 80 dB and normal deviation of 22 kHz keep speech clear over the full 200-foot operating range. Dual telescoping antennas on the receiver maintain reliable reception throughout extended events.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The all-metal receiver chassis runs on an external 16 V, 400 mA AC adapter compatible with 110 V to 240 V mains. No internal fan is fitted, so the unit operates silently in quiet venues such as churches or conference rooms. The compact 44021040 mm enclosure weighs approximately 1.3 kg and dissipates heat passively.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 4-channel UHF receiver draw when it runs all day?

The receiver requires AC 16 V at 400 mA from the included 110-240 V power adapter.

What audio inputs must I already have on my mixer or recorder to use the four XLR and one 6.35 mm outputs?

You need four XLR inputs for the individual channel outputs and one 6.35 mm (1/4") input for the mixed output.

Will the 500-580 MHz carrier range interfere with older VHF wireless gear I still use?

The system operates in the 500-580 MHz UHF band, well above legacy VHF frequencies, so typical VHF equipment will not overlap.
