A large 1" gold-sputtered diaphragm captures studio-grade audio with dual XLR and USB-C output plus 32-bit float 192 kHz conversion
The NT1 5th Generation is a studio condenser microphone built for recording, streaming and podcasting. It offers both analog XLR and digital USB-C outputs, letting you plug straight into a computer or route through an interface. A large 1" gold-sputtered diaphragm captures vocals and loud instruments with low self-noise. The integrated Revolution Preamp and DSP processing handle gain and tone shaping internally.
This model replaces microphones that only provide USB or only provide XLR connections. The dual-output design removes the need to buy separate mics for mobile and studio workflows. The jump is worth it when you want 32-bit float digital recording that prevents clipping without riding gain, and when you need to run several USB microphones simultaneously through the companion software.
Verify that your recording device has an available XLR input with phantom power or a free USB-C port for digital operation. Confirm your recording software supports 192 kHz sample rates to use the full converter capability. Ensure you have desk space for the included shockmount and pop filter, and check whether your operating system is supported by the multi-mic control application.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The microphone offers both an analog XLR output and a digital USB-C output, so it can be mounted on a standard stand and connected either to an interface or directly to a computer.
Use the USB-C connector on the microphone for direct digital connection; the XLR path requires an external interface and is not plug-and-play.
The pop filter and shockmount are supplied as durable accessories; no scheduled replacement is mentioned for either component.
