Compatibility with Astro A40TR and A50 Gen 3 Gen 4

These replacement ear pads are made for Astro A40TR and A50 Gen 3 Gen 4 headsets. They do not fit Astro A50 Gen 1 or Gen 2 models. Gamers and streamers who want fresh cushions for long sessions will find them suitable. The velour and memory foam construction aims to restore comfort and sound isolation.

Adhesive-backed installation and included pair

Each pad uses an adhesive sticker on the back that attaches to the original mounting ring, so no tools are required. The pack contains two ear pads, covering both sides of the headset. This design frees you from sourcing separate rings or clips. Installation is completed in minutes without disassembling the drivers.

Upgrade from worn or flattened original pads

The set replaces ear pads that have lost shape, peeled, or become uncomfortable over time. Memory foam conforms to the ear for better passive isolation, which can improve perceived audio clarity. The jump is worth it when existing cushions no longer seal properly or cause fatigue during extended use.

Questions about this item

How long before the memory-foam pads lose their shape during daily gaming sessions?

The velour-covered memory foam is designed to retain its cushioning through extended daily use, keeping the fit consistent over time.

Do the pads make the headset hotter or heavier after hours of wear?

The breathable velour surface and lightweight foam add minimal mass and allow airflow, so heat build-up stays low during all-day sessions.

Which Astro headsets already have the mounting rings these pads stick to?

They adhere directly to the original rings on Astro A40TR and A50 Gen 3 and Gen 4 headsets; Gen 1 and Gen 2 are not compatible.
