Wired Over-Ear Headphones with 40mm Driver

The AILIHEN C90 is a wired over-ear headphone designed for listeners who want passive noise isolation and a 3.5mm connection. It suits students, office workers and casual users looking for a lightweight headset with an inline microphone and volume control. The grey finish and foldable frame make it easy to carry in the supplied bag.

Limits of the 3.5mm Analogue Interface

The 3.5mm jack provides universal compatibility with smartphones, tablets, Chromebooks and PCs, but the inline volume control and microphone may not function on computer ports. Passive isolation blocks up to 90% of ambient noise without active circuitry, so loud environments will still leak some sound. The 17 ohm input impedance and 117 ohm microphone impedance are fixed by the cable design.

Foldable Plug-and-Play Setup

No drivers or software are required; simply plug the 3.5mm connector into the audio jack and adjust the headband for fit. The foldable hinges and braided cable reduce tangling, though repeated folding can stress the hinge points over time. The carry bag protects the earcups during transport, and the protein leatherette pads stay comfortable during long sessions.

Questions about this item

Which C90 variant should I choose, the 40mm driver model or another size?

The C90 is offered with a single 40mm dynamic driver and a 3.5mm jack; no other driver sizes or connector versions are listed.

What does the 17 ohm impedance mean when I plug these into my phone or laptop?

At 17 ohms the headphones draw enough volume from smartphone, tablet or Chromebook outputs without needing a separate amplifier.

What does the 3.5mm connector actually support on different devices?

The 3.5mm plug carries stereo audio and the inline microphone; volume and mic controls work on phones and tablets but are not supported on computers.
