Power supply for AIPHONE surveillance

The AIPHONE PS-1225UL is a 12 volt DC power supply rated at 2.5 amps. It accepts a 110 volt AC input and is designed to power compatible surveillance equipment. The unit is supplied new and carries the manufacturer model number PS-1225UL.

Installers needing 12 volt DC at 2.5 amps

This supply suits installers who need a 12 volt 2.5 amp source for AIPHONE devices from a 110 volt AC mains. It is not for systems that require a different output voltage or a higher current rating. It is not for sites where the mains voltage is not 110 volts AC.

110 volt AC input voltage

The single specification that decides fit is the 110 volt AC input requirement. The unit will only operate correctly on a 110 volt AC supply. Verify the local mains voltage before purchase.

Questions about this item

What voltage must my existing wiring supply for the PS-1225UL to operate?

The unit requires a 110 VAC input, so your circuit must provide that mains voltage.

Can the 2.5 A output run legacy 12 V cameras that draw less current?

Yes, the supply delivers up to 2.5 A at 12 V DC, so older cameras within that current limit will work.

How can I verify the PS-1225UL is delivering power after installation?

Measure the output terminals with a multimeter; a reading near 12 V DC confirms normal operation.
