Questions about this item

How much drawer space do the 13-inch teak spoons need?

Each spoon measures 13 by 3.5 inches, so allow at least that length plus handle clearance in a drawer or utensil crock.

What is the first step when the new spoons arrive before I cook with them?

Hand wash both spoons with warm soapy water, dry them thoroughly, then rub food-grade mineral oil into the teak to seal the surface.

How often should I re-oil the teak to keep it from drying out?

Reapply food-grade mineral oil whenever the wood looks dull or feels rough — typically every few weeks with regular hand washing.
