What RICO London Is

RICO London is a co-operative action shooter set in a London high-rise on New Year's Eve 1999. You play Detective Inspector Redfern battling East End gangsters floor by floor. The game supports solo play or a partner and arms you with an expanding arsenal taken from fallen enemies.

How the Campaign Holds Up

Progression is built around ascending the tower, with tougher goons and higher stakes on every level. Ammunition stays scarce, so you must constantly swap weapons and adapt tactics rather than relying on a single loadout. The loop rewards short, intense bursts of play rather than marathon sessions.

What This Replaces

The title replaces older arcade-style shooters that offered only linear corridors and limited co-op options. The jump is worth it for players who want procedural floor layouts, dynamic weapon scavenging and a 1999 London backdrop that changes the atmosphere on every run.
