Five-port car charger for multi-device travel

The Alanph P5S plugs into a 12-24 V cigarette lighter socket and provides five USB Type-A ports. One port supports Quick Charge 3.0 at up to 3.1 A, while the remaining four ports share a combined 3.1 A output. It is designed for drivers and passengers who need to charge several smartphones, tablets or other USB devices simultaneously on the road.

Thermal behaviour and power draw in normal use

The charger body is made from ABS+PC plastic and measures approximately 8.5 by 4.2 by 4.2 cm with a weight of 42 g. Built-in protection circuits guard against overcurrent, overheat, short circuit, overvoltage and high temperature to maintain stable output during extended charging sessions. No active cooling fan is fitted; heat dissipates through the housing under typical loads.

Bundled accessories and software impact

The package includes a single charger unit with no additional cables, mounts or software utilities. All charging intelligence is handled by the onboard IC, which automatically allocates current to each connected device and falls back to Quick Charge 2.0 compatibility where needed. Buyers who need a second charger for another vehicle or who require USB-C or Power Delivery support will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Alanph P5S in my vehicle and what is the common mistake?

Plug the unit into a 12-24 V cigarette-lighter socket; the step people miss is confirming the socket stays powered with the ignition off, otherwise all five ports lose power when the key is removed.

What maintenance or replacement will the charger need over time?

No scheduled maintenance is required; if the internal protection circuits trip from sustained over-current or overheating, the entire adapter must be replaced as it has no user-serviceable parts.

Which limit appears first during continuous high-load use?

The combined 3.1 A share across the four standard ports becomes the bottleneck before the single QC 3.0 port reaches its own 3.1 A rating.
