4 in. 250 lb Polyolefin Caster Wheel

This 4 in. diameter polyolefin caster wheel supports a 250 lb load rating and fits axles up to 3/8 in. with the included spanner bushing. The hard 65 Shore D tread is non-marking and built for wheelbarrows, carts and similar yard equipment. It ships new and ready to install.

Load rating and tread limits

The wheel handles 0 to 299 lb loads and the polyolefin material resists marking on hard surfaces. Precision ball bearings keep rotation smooth, while the standard tread shape provides consistent contact. Operate within the rated capacity to avoid premature wear or failure.

3/8 in. axle with spanner bushing

The 3/8 in. axle size and included spanner bushing determine whether this wheel fits your existing hub. Verify the axle diameter and hub length of 1 9/16 in. before ordering. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

Should I pick this 4 in. 250 lb caster or look for a different size?

Choose this wheel when the equipment needs a 4 inch diameter, 1 1/4 inch width and a 3/8 inch axle bore; the 250 lb rating fits loads in the 0 to 299 lb range.

What does the 250 lb load rating mean once the wheel is on my cart?

Each wheel supports up to 250 lb; the total capacity of the cart depends on how many wheels you install and how evenly the weight is spread.

What does the 65 Shore D hardness tell me about rolling on concrete?

The polyolefin tread measures 65 Shore D, giving a hard, non‑marking roll that resists flat‑spotting on smooth floors.
