This 6 in. swivel plate caster supports a 1000 lb load rating for heavy-duty carts and wheelbarrows. Its kingpinless design eliminates a common wear point and allows free swivel motion under full load. The polyurethane wheel and core resist marking on finished floors and stand up to rough outdoor surfaces. No brake or swivel lock is included, so the unit swivels continuously.

Capacity and headroom

At 1000 lb per caster, the unit handles loaded garden carts, equipment dollies and utility wagons without bottoming out on uneven ground. The 2 in. wide polyurethane tread spreads weight to reduce sinking in soft soil or gravel. Headroom ends when impact loads exceed the static rating or when a locking mechanism is required for stationary positioning. The caster ships without a brake, so it cannot hold a slope on its own.
