Albion 85 Shore A Caster Wheel

The Albion Inc. caster wheel is a 4 inch diameter wheel built for wheelbarrows and carts. It uses a thermoplastic rubber tread on a plastic core to provide non-marking performance. The wheel carries a 300 lb load rating within a 300 to 999 lb range. It is suited for light industrial and outdoor transport tasks.

Fits 3/8 inch axles without a spanner bushing

This wheel suits equipment that accepts a 3/8 inch axle and a 1 9/16 inch hub length. It is not for applications requiring a supplied spanner bushing or a different axle diameter. Builders needing a harder tread than 75 Shore A or a higher single-wheel capacity should consider other options.

85 Shore A rating with 300 lb capacity

The key specification is the 85 Shore A designation paired with a 300 lb load rating. This combination defines the wheel's softness and weight limit for your cart or wheelbarrow. Verify that your axle size and hub length match the 3/8 inch and 1 9/16 inch dimensions before purchase.

Questions about this item

What comes with the Zoro Select IS040510670A caster wheel and what must I supply?

The wheel includes a non-marking thermoplastic rubber tread on a plastic core with a Delrin bearing for a 3/8 in axle. A spanner bushing is not included, so you will need to provide one if your axle requires it.

Which load rating version should I choose for my cart?

This model is rated at 300 lb and falls within the 300 to 999 lb range. Select it when the total weight on each wheel will not exceed 300 lb; otherwise choose a higher-rated wheel from the same range.

What does the 85 Shore A hardness mean once the wheel is on my equipment?

The 85 Shore A rating indicates a firm tread that resists flat-spotting under a 300 lb load while still providing non-marking floor protection and quieter rolling than harder wheels.
