4 in Rigid Plate Caster for Heavy Loads

This rigid plate caster supports a 375 lb load rating on a 4 in polyurethane wheel with a polyolefin core. The non marking tread protects floors while the wheel rolls smoothly on carts and wheelbarrows. It is built for industrial and commercial equipment that needs straight line tracking.

Check Mounting Pattern and Clearance

Verify that the plate bolt pattern matches the existing holes on your cart or frame before ordering. Confirm the 4 in wheel diameter fits the available vertical space without interfering with the load or frame. Ensure the rigid design suits the steering layout you require.

No Brake or Swivel Lock Included

The caster ships without a brake or swivel lock so movement is not restricted by the hardware. The NSF listed construction meets sanitation standards for food service and clean room environments. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

Does the rigid plate caster arrive as a single unit or do I need to buy the wheel and plate separately?

The caster is supplied as one complete assembly — wheel, rigid plate and axle are already fitted — so no extra components are required for installation.

How do I decide between the 375 lb load rating and a higher-capacity model for my cart?

Choose this 375 lb caster when the combined weight of the cart and its maximum load divided by the number of casters stays at or below 375 lb per caster; if the per-caster share exceeds that figure, select a higher-rated model.

What does the 4 inch wheel diameter mean for rolling resistance on a concrete floor?

A 4 inch polyurethane wheel on polyolefin core reduces rolling effort on smooth concrete compared with smaller diameters, while the non-marking tread prevents floor scuffs during daily use.
