Swivel Stem Caster 4 in 300 lb

The Zoro Select swivel stem caster carries a 300 lb load rating and uses a 4 in rubber wheel that is non-marking. A Delrin bearing supports the single wheel on a steel frame with a zinc plated finish. The threaded stem measures 3/8 in -16 by 1 in.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that the mounting hole accepts a 3/8 in -16 threaded stem and that the 4 13/16 in mounting height matches the equipment frame. Confirm the 1 1/4 in wheel width fits the available clearance and that the 300 lb rating meets the total weight requirement.

Build integration notes

The caster adds mobility to carts or wheelbarrows without marking floors and frees the user from fixed-leg stability limits. The swivel action allows tight turning in confined aisles while the zinc plated steel frame resists corrosion in outdoor use.

Questions about this item

What comes with the Zoro Select 32J867 caster and do I need any extra parts to mount it?

The caster arrives as a single assembled unit with a threaded 3/8-16 stem. No separate wheel, bearing or mounting hardware is included, so you only need a matching threaded hole or nut on your equipment.

How do I decide between the 300 lb rating and the 300 to 999 lb range shown in the specs?

The 300 lb figure is the rated capacity for this model. The wider range simply groups it with other casters; choose this caster when your load per wheel stays at or below 300 lb.

What does the 4 in wheel diameter mean for ground clearance and rolling ease on my cart?

A 4 in diameter wheel raises the mounting height to 4 13/16 in and rolls over small debris more easily than smaller wheels, while the 1 1/4 in tread width and Delrin bearing keep rolling resistance low on hard surfaces.
