Swivel Stem Caster 350 lb

This swivel stem caster supports a 350 lb load rating and fits wheelbarrows, carts and similar yard equipment. The 4 in wheel diameter and 1 1/4 in width suit light to medium material handling tasks.

Polyurethane wheel steel frame

The polyurethane tread is non-marking and rolls on a Delrin bearing for smooth movement across mixed surfaces. A zinc plated steel frame resists corrosion while the 7/16 in x 1-3/8 in friction ring stem secures the caster in existing mounting holes.

Low rolling resistance operation

Polyurethane on Delrin reduces rolling resistance so loaded carts move with less effort and minimal noise on hard ground. The 4 13/16 in mounting height keeps the centre of gravity low for stable handling during normal use.

Questions about this item

What load rating does the 4-inch polyurethane swivel stem caster carry?

The caster is rated for 350 lb per wheel, placing it in the 300 to 999 lb load class.

What stem dimensions are required to mount this caster?

The stem measures 7/16 in diameter by 1-3/8 in long and uses a friction ring for retention.

How is the caster installed, and which step is often missed?

Press the stem into a matching 7/16 in bore until the friction ring snaps into the groove; the step often missed is verifying the ring is fully seated so the caster cannot pull out.
