Zoro Select 5 in Polyolefin Caster Wheel

This 5 in diameter caster wheel uses a polyolefin tread on a polypropylene core and carries a 350 lb load rating. It is built for wheelbarrows, utility carts and similar yard equipment that need a hard, non-marking wheel. The 65 Shore D hardness resists flattening under heavy loads.

Suits light industrial carts and garden barrows

Buyers who need a wheel for rough terrain or who require a brake, swivel lock or pneumatic tyre should look elsewhere. The fixed tread shape and Delrin bearing are designed for smooth, hard surfaces and straight-line rolling.

350 lb load rating on a 5 in wheel

This single figure decides whether the caster matches the weight of your loaded cart. Exceeding the rating risks wheel failure, while a much higher rating adds unnecessary stiffness and cost.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 5 in ZORO SELECT 26Y368 caster generate when rolling under a 350 lb load all day?

The polyolefin wheel with 65 Shore D hardness and Delrin bearing runs cool under continuous 350 lb use; no measurable heat builds up during normal operation.

What axle size must my cart already have for this 3/8 in bore caster to fit?

Your cart axle must be exactly 3/8 in diameter; the included spanner bushing adapts the wheel hub to that size.

Will the 1 9/16 in hub length on this 5 in wheel align with the brackets on my older wheelbarrow?

The hub measures 1 9/16 in long; compare that to your existing bracket spacing to confirm fit before installing.
