Albion Inc. ZORO SELECT 8 in. Caster Wheel

The Albion Inc. ZORO SELECT 26Y441 is an 8 inch cast iron caster wheel rated for 1800 lb loads. It suits heavy duty carts and wheelbarrows needing a durable replacement wheel. The iron tread measures 145 BHN hardness and includes a spanner bushing for 1/2 in or 3/4 in axles. Non marking design protects floors during use.

Industrial Movers & Floor Protection

This wheel fits industrial carts requiring extra hard iron treads and high load capacity. Buyers needing quiet rolling on smooth floors should consider softer tread materials. Shops requiring corrosion resistant wheels must select stainless or polyurethane options instead. The fixed hub length suits standard brackets only.

1800 lb Load Rating Decides Fit

The 1800 lb load rating is the primary specification that determines if this wheel matches your cart. Verify your equipment axle diameter matches the 1/2 in or 3/4 in bushing sizes provided. Confirm the 2 7/16 in hub length clears your fork assembly before ordering. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to this product.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the wheel rolls smoothly after mounting it on my cart?

Spin the 8 in. cast-iron wheel by hand; it should turn freely on the roller bearing with no binding or wobble.

Does the package include the spanner bushing for 1/2 in. and 3/4 in. axles?

Yes, the spanner bushing is included so the wheel fits both 1/2 in. and 3/4 in. axle sizes.

Should I choose this 1800 lb model or a lower-capacity caster for my wheelbarrow?

Select this 1800 lb caster when the loaded wheelbarrow or cart will approach 1800 lb; a lower rating risks premature wear.
