Who should use this and who should not

Buyers replacing a stem caster on a wheelbarrow or cart that matches the 7/8 in x 2-3/16 in friction ring stem will find this part suitable. Builders who need a plate mount, a different stem size or a load rating outside the 300 to 999 lb range should look at something else.

Deciding specification — stem size and load rating

The 7/8 in x 2-3/16 in friction ring stem and the 325 lb load rating are the two figures that determine fit. Confirm both against the equipment you are repairing before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the Zoro Select 32J812 caster come with the friction-ring stem installed, or must I supply my own mounting hardware?

The caster arrives with the 7/8 in x 2-3/16 in friction-ring stem already fitted, so no separate stem or mounting hardware is required.

Should I pick the 325 lb model or a higher-capacity version for a 300 lb cart?

The 325 lb load rating covers a 300 lb cart with a 25 lb safety margin; choose a higher-capacity model only if the loaded weight will exceed 325 lb.

Will the 5 in rubber wheel on the 32J812 roll smoothly over a concrete garage floor?

Yes, the 5 in diameter rubber tread on a Delrin bearing is non-marking and rolls easily on smooth concrete.
