ZORO SELECT 33H909 Rigid Plate Caster

The ZORO SELECT 33H909 is a rigid plate caster built for wheelbarrows and carts. It has a five inch wheel diameter and a load rating of three hundred pounds. The rubber tread on a polyolefin core is non-marking. This new caster includes no brake or swivel lock.

Suits fixed-wheel utility builds

This caster suits builders who need a single fixed wheel for straight-line rolling on flat surfaces. Buyers who want swivel steering or a total-lock brake should look at something else. The NSF listing supports use in environments that require that certification.

Fits standard plate mounting

The rigid plate bolts to a frame with a standard hole pattern. The non-marking tread protects finished floors from scuffs. No brake hardware means fewer parts to maintain. The unit ships as a single wheel ready for installation.

Questions about this item

What mounting hardware is needed for the 5 in plate caster?

The rigid plate has pre-drilled holes for bolts; supply your own bolts, nuts and washers that match the hole pattern.

Will the 300 lb rigid caster roll smoothly on the same axle as my older swivel casters?

Yes, the 5 in diameter and 1 1/2 in tread width match common cart axles so it tracks straight alongside swivel units.

How can I confirm the non-marking rubber tread is working after installation?

Roll the loaded cart across a clean floor — no dark streaks should appear if the non-marking compound is performing correctly.
