Swivel Plate Caster 375 lb

The Zoro Select 33H911 is a single swivel plate caster built for wheelbarrows and carts that need a 375 lb load rating. It mounts on a flat plate and rotates freely to simplify steering on hard surfaces.

Thermals noise and power draw

This caster has no motor, fan or electrical components, so it produces no heat, no audible noise and draws no power during normal movement. The polyurethane tread on a polyolefin core rolls quietly across concrete or shop floors.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous 375 lb loading the ball-bearing swivel maintains consistent rotation without binding. The non-marking polyurethane tread resists flat-spotting during long stationary periods and does not require a brake to hold position on level ground.

Questions about this item

How do I bolt the 4 in plate caster so the 375 lb load rating actually holds?

Use the four mounting holes in the top plate with grade-5 bolts, washers and lock nuts; torque them evenly so the plate sits flat against the frame or the polyurethane wheel can shift under load.

When does the polyurethane tread on the 375 lb caster need replacing?

Replace the wheel when the tread shows flat spots, chunking or the polyolefin core becomes visible; the ball bearing stays serviceable but the tread wears first on abrasive floors.

What fails first if I run the 4 in swivel caster at its 375 lb limit continuously?

The polyurethane tread overheats and softens before the ball bearing or swivel race, causing permanent flat spots that make the caster wobble.
