ZORO SELECT 33J004 4 in. Plate Caster

The Albion Inc. ZORO SELECT 33J004 is a rigid plate caster built for wheelbarrows, carts and similar yard equipment. It supports a 300 lb load rating and mounts directly to a flat surface without swivel movement. The unit is sold new and carries a California Proposition 65 notice for chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.

4 in. Polyolefin Wheel Characteristics

The 4 in. diameter wheel uses polyolefin for both tread and core, providing a non-marking surface that resists floor damage. The rigid design means the caster does not swivel, limiting maneuverability to straight-line travel unless paired with swivel units elsewhere. No brake or swivel lock mechanism is included on this model.

300 lb Capacity and Application Limits

The 300 lb rating suits light to medium material-handling tasks such as garden carts or utility dollies. Heavier loads or constant high-impact use will exceed the rated capacity and risk premature wear. The single-wheel configuration also concentrates force on one contact point, reducing stability on uneven ground compared to dual-wheel setups.
