Designed for Hard Floors

This clear chair mat measures 36.00" by 48.00" and uses a non-studded design to shield wood, tile, laminate and other hard floors from caster wear, spills and heavy traffic. The non-orthophthalate, non-cadmium formula supports a healthier work environment while the classic straight edge provides a clean finish.

Check Your Floor Type

Before ordering, confirm that the surface is a hard floor such as wood, tile or laminate, because the non-studded backing is not intended for carpeted areas. Verify that the 36 by 48 inch dimensions suit the desk footprint and allow enough room for chair movement without the mat edge becoming a trip hazard.

No Bundled Extras

The product ships as a single mat with no additional accessories, cleaning kits or software included. Its protective benefit comes entirely from the material composition and flat profile rather than from any supplementary items.

Questions about this item

Does the Alera ALEMAT3648HFL come with any mounting hardware or adhesive strips, or is it just the mat?

The package contains only the clear non-studded chair mat itself; no mounting hardware, adhesive strips or additional accessories are included.

Should I choose the 36 by 48 inch size or a different dimension for my desk area?

This model is offered in a single 36 by 48 inch size; select it if that footprint covers your primary rolling zone, otherwise you will need a different mat.

How does the non-studded surface perform on a laminate floor when I roll my chair daily?

The smooth non-studded underside prevents caster wear, resists spills and handles heavy traffic on wood, tile, laminate and similar hard floors.
