Racing-style ergonomic seat

The Alera BT51593RED gaming chair is built for players, students and home-office workers who want a racing-inspired look with practical adjustability. It combines a high-back silhouette with integrated head and lumbar pillows for extended comfort during long sessions. Height adjustment, tilt tension, tilt lock and adjustable T-bar arms let each user dial in a personal fit. Easy assembly gets you seated quickly.

135-degree recline and 275 lb capacity

The backrest reclines a full 135 degrees, giving enough range to sit upright for focus or lie back for a short break. Synchronized knee tilt keeps the seat angle natural as you lean, reducing pressure on the thighs. The frame is rated for users up to 275 lb, so it accommodates a broad range of body types. No seat-depth glide or independent back-height adjustment is provided, limiting fine-tuning for very tall or short sitters.

T-bar arms and fixed lumbar support

Adjustable T-bar arms move up and down but do not pivot, slide or rotate, which may restrict mouse-and-keyboard positioning for some desk layouts. The lumbar and headrest pillows are removable yet not height-adjustable on the frame, so their support zone is fixed relative to the backrest. No knee-tilt lock, posture lock or multi-task control mechanisms are included, limiting advanced ergonomic configurations.

Questions about this item

Will the 135° recline and tilt lock hold position when I shift weight from my existing desk setup?

Yes, the chair features tilt tension and tilt lock so you can set the recline angle and lock it in place while you work or game.

How can I verify the pneumatic height adjustment is functioning correctly after assembly?

Sit on the seat, pull the height lever, and the chair should rise smoothly; release the lever at your desired height and it will lock there.

Does the box include the removable head and lumbar pillows, or must I purchase them separately?

The head and lumbar pillows are included with the chair; no separate purchase is needed for those accessories.
