Three-Drawer Mobile Pedestal File

The Alera PA53-2820LG is a mobile pedestal file designed for office environments. It provides three drawers for organising documents and supplies. Two locking casters keep the unit stable when stationary. The light grey finish suits professional settings.

Box/Box/File Drawer Configuration

Two 6-inch high box drawers hold smaller items and include a divider plus pencil tray. One 12-inch high file drawer accommodates letter and legal folders. A counterweight prevents tipping when the file drawer is fully extended. Steel ball-bearing slides provide 3/4 extension on box drawers and full-length extension on the file drawer.

Steel Construction With Locking Casters

The steel frame supports daily filing demands. Full-length recessed pulls allow easy opening from any angle. Visible casters roll smoothly across flooring; two lock to secure the pedestal in place. The compact footprint fits beside or under standard desks.

Questions about this item

Will the 27-3/4-inch height fit under my existing 28-inch desk clearance?

Yes, the pedestal stands 27-3/4 inches tall, leaving a small gap beneath a 28-inch desk opening.

How can I confirm the counterweight is preventing the unit from tipping when the file drawer is fully extended?

Open the 12-inch file drawer completely; the pedestal should remain stable without rocking or lifting at the front.

Does the box include the divider and pencil tray for the two 6-inch box drawers, or must I order them separately?

The divider and pencil tray are supplied inside the box drawers; no extra purchase is required.
