Alera Valencia Bow Front Desk Shell

The Alera VA227236WA is a bow-front desk shell finished in Modern Walnut woodgrain laminate. It provides a 71.00" wide work surface supported by leveling glides. The unit is designed for professionals who need a spacious primary desk that integrates with matching Valencia Series components.

Compatibility With Existing Valencia Series

Before ordering, confirm that your workspace can accommodate the overall footprint of 29.63" deep by 71.00" wide by 41.38" high. The desk shell requires a Valencia Series reversible return, bridge shell or credenza shell to complete a functional workstation. Ensure the 3.00 mm protective edge band aligns with your preferred aesthetic and that the 1.00" top thickness meets your durability expectations.

Upgrade From Smaller Or Non-Modular Desks

This shell replaces compact writing desks or fixed-shape tables that lack the bow-front profile and modular expandability of the Valencia line. The jump is worth it when you need a deeper, curved workspace that connects seamlessly with returns or bridges for an L- or U-shaped configuration. Buyers who want a standalone desk with built-in storage or a different finish should consider other ranges.
