Alion fortune HK Limited

Alion fortune HK Limited GM8908 Wind Speed Temperature Gauge Anemometer engineering development tool

SKU CH-ZXVM-1FHK7

Measures wind speed up to 30 m/s and temperature from -10 °C to 45 °C with ±5 % accuracy in a pocket-sized 115 g housing

  • Product typeEngineering Development Tools
  • Measures wind up to 30 m/s for high-speed airflow analysis
  • Resolves speed changes down to 0.1 m/s for precise readings
  • Detects airflow from a low 0.1 m/s threshold for sensitive capture
  • Reads temperature from -10 °C to 45 °C with 0.2 °C resolution
  • Compact 105 × 60 × 20 mm body weighs only 115 g

Handheld anemometer for field measurements

The GM8908 measures wind speed from zero to thirty metres per second with a resolution of zero point one metres per second and a threshold of zero point one metres per second. Accuracy is stated as plus or minus five percent. It also records air temperature from minus ten to forty five degrees Celsius using an NTC thermometer with zero point two degree resolution and two degree accuracy.

Technicians and hobbyists needing portable airflow

This unit suits anyone who requires a compact, battery operated instrument for quick spot checks of ventilation, HVAC ducts or outdoor conditions. It is not intended for users who need data logging, wireless output or a fixed mounting option for continuous monitoring.

Minimal accessories keep the kit light

The device ships as a standalone meter with no additional probes, cables or software included. Its low current draw of about three milliamps and one hundred fifteen gram weight mean it can be carried all day without extra bulk, but users must supply their own power source and recording method.

Questions about this item

What power source does the GM8908 anemometer need to operate?

The unit draws about 3 mA from its internal battery; no external supply is required.

Will the GM8908 read correctly if I keep my older cup anemometer mounted nearby?

Yes, the GM8908 measures air velocity independently and its +/- 5 % accuracy is unaffected by other instruments.

How can I confirm the GM8908 is measuring wind speed accurately after I turn it on?

Expose the sensor to a known airflow; the display should show a value within +/- 5 % of that reference speed.
