All-Tech 1708Ul 8-Port KVM Console

The All-Tech 1708Ul is a 1U rack-mount KVM switch with an integrated 17-inch LCD panel. It lets one operator control up to eight computers from a single keyboard, monitor and mouse station. The console supports a native 1280x1024 resolution for clear server management. It is built for data-centre racks and server-room deployments.

Check rack space and cabling before ordering

Verify that your rack can accommodate a 1U high unit with the listed 1.73 depth dimensions. Ensure you have the correct video and PS/2 or USB cables for each of the eight target systems. Confirm the console’s OSD, hotkey and front-panel switching methods match your workflow. The package includes the necessary cables for immediate installation.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The 1U form factor relies on passive cooling and forced airflow from the rack environment. No active fans are mentioned, so acoustic output is minimal in a ventilated cabinet. Power draw is limited to the LCD panel and switching logic, keeping consumption low. The unit is designed for continuous operation in standard server-room temperatures.
