Controls four computers from one dual-head DVI-I console with USB 3.0, audio and zero-delay switching
The Avocent SV340-001 lets one keyboard, mouse and dual-monitor setup control four computers from a desktop footprint. It targets administrators, developers and multi-system workstations that need instant source changes without moving between physical consoles. Zero-delay keyboard and mouse emulation keeps input responsive during every switch.
A managed copy-and-paste function moves text and files between the four connected systems without extra software. Three front-panel USB 3.0 ports provide high-speed data transfer and device charging, while audio and USB channels can be frozen independently so a playback or transfer continues on one computer while the user works on another.
Dual-link DVI-I drives two monitors at 2560×1600 at 60 Hz or, with a DVI-to-HDMI cable, a single UHD 4K display at 3840×2160 at 30 Hz. VGA is supported to 2048×1536 via adapter. The unit draws up to 35 W from 100–240 V AC and operates from 0 °C to 40 °C, so it fits standard office environments without extra cooling.

The SV340-001 has no user-serviceable parts; the four DVI-I ports and three USB 3.0 ports are built into the chassis and are not designed to be swapped out.
The dual-link DVI outputs are specified at 2560x1600 pixels @ 60 Hz, so that resolution and refresh rate is the video ceiling; the internal 35 W power budget and 0-40 °C operating range are the next constraints.
Maximum power draw is 35 W from a 100-240 V AC supply; the chassis has no fan listed, so heat is dissipated passively within the 0-40 °C operating temperature range and operation is silent.
