Compact wireless mouse for everyday use

The allentian T-WOLF Q2 is a 2.4 GHz wireless mouse with 1200 DPI optical resolution and three buttons. It connects through a Mini USB receiver and runs on a single AA battery. The matte textured cover and non-slip roller are shaped for comfortable daily office or home use.

Check your ports and power before ordering

Your computer needs a free USB-A port for the Mini USB receiver. The mouse operates at 1.5 V from one AA battery, which is not supplied in the box. System support is listed for Windows 7, XP 64-bit, Vista and Windows 8; newer operating systems are not confirmed by the supplier.

Replaces a wired mouse when cable-free convenience

This model upgrades from a tethered pointer by adding 10 metres of wireless range and 16 auto-hopping channels. The jump is worth it if you want a clutter-free desk and automatic sleep power saving. It does not suit users who need programmable buttons, adjustable DPI or rechargeable power.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a battery or must I buy an AA separately?

The mouse ships without a battery; you need to supply one AA cell (1.5 V) to power it.

The listing mentions 16 channels with automatic frequency modulation — what does that do for me?

The 2.4 GHz link picks one of 16 channels on its own to avoid interference and keep the connection stable up to 10 m.

Will the 1200 DPI sensor feel fast enough for everyday office work on a 1080p screen?

At 1200 DPI the cursor crosses a full-width 1080p desktop in roughly two inches of hand movement, which most users find comfortable for daily tasks.
