Compact wireless mouse for everyday use

The allentian T-WOLF Q2 is a 2.4 GHz wireless mouse with a 1200 DPI optical sensor and three buttons. It connects through a Mini USB receiver and operates at distances up to 10 metres using 16 automatic frequency channels. The pink chassis measures 6 by 11.5 by 3.8 centimetres and weighs little enough for portable use.

Battery and surface features affect daily handling

Power comes from a single AA battery that is not included in the package. An automatic sleep function engages after inactivity to extend battery life. The matte grain texture on the top cover provides a non-slip grip, while the textured scroll wheel adds tactile control during long sessions.

Mini USB receiver and legacy OS support define

The receiver uses a Mini USB interface rather than the more common micro or Type-A connectors, so a spare port of that type is required. Official system support lists Windows 7, XP 64-bit, Vista and Windows 8; newer operating systems may work but are not guaranteed by the manufacturer. The fixed 1200 DPI setting cannot be adjusted on the fly.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the AA battery that powers the mouse?

The mouse runs on one AA battery at 1.5 V with automatic sleep for power saving; typical life spans several months of daily use before a fresh cell is needed.

What is the maximum reliable range before the 2.4 GHz link drops out?

The supplier rates the operating distance at 10 meters with 16-channel automatic frequency modulation to maintain a stable connection.

Does the mouse get warm or make audible clicks during all-day use?

The photoelectric sensor and low 1.5 V supply produce negligible heat, while the three keys and non-slip roller generate only normal click sounds.
