Podcast Bundle for Streaming Starters

The ALSO GO podcast equipment bundle delivers a complete starter kit for voice-over work, gaming streams and social-media content. It pairs a BM-800 condenser microphone with a V8s sound card, boom arm, shock mount, pop filter and foam cover so nothing extra is required. USB Type-C connectivity links the mixer to PCs, smartphones, Xbox and major operating systems.

Sustained Session Behaviour

During long recording or streaming sessions the cardioid pickup pattern keeps focus on the speaker while the dual-layer pop filter and windproof foam cap suppress plosives and ambient noise. The mixer’s DSP chip maintains a signal-to-noise ratio of 85 decibels and a dynamic range of 105 dB with crosstalk at -106 dB. Ten sound effects, four voice-change modes and thirteen practical functions stay accessible without interrupting the workflow.

Upgrade Path From Basic USB Mics

This bundle replaces a standalone USB microphone and separate software plugins by integrating hardware reverb, treble, bass, noise reduction and voice morphing in one metal-and-plastic chassis. Creators who need multiple 3.5 mm inputs for a second microphone, accompaniment or monitoring gain two condenser mic ports, one accompaniment input, one headphone output and two live-broadcast ports.

Questions about this item

Does the 85 dB signal-to-noise ratio keep background hiss low during long recording sessions?

The BM-800 condenser microphone is rated at 85 decibels SNR, so self-noise stays minimal even when you record for hours.

What connectors and cables must I already have to use the V8s sound card with my phone?

The V8s provides one USB-C OTG port, two 3.5 mm condenser mic inputs, one 3.5 mm accompaniment input, one 3.5 mm headphone output and two 3.5 mm live-broadcast ports; you only need matching 3.5 mm cables or a USB-C cable for your phone.

Will the V8s mixer work with an older PC that only has USB-A ports?

The mixer uses a USB Type-C connector, so you will need a USB-C to USB-A cable or adapter to connect it to a legacy USB-A port.
