Questions about this item

Does the ACM8E enclosure include card readers, mag locks or electric strikes, or must they be purchased separately?

The enclosure is an 8‑channel controller only; card readers, mag locks, electric strikes and magnetic door holders are not included and must be sourced separately.

Which version of the ACM8E should I select for a standard UL‑listed access‑control installation?

The single model shown carries UL294, CSFM and MEA listings, so it satisfies the common code requirements for access‑control panels.

What does the 8‑channel rating mean when the unit is mounted in a rack or wall cabinet?

It indicates the controller can manage up to eight independent door circuits — readers, locks or holders — from one enclosure.
