AR4 Outdoor Bullet IP Camera

The Amaryllo AR4 is a wired 1.3MP bullet network camera finished in white. It connects through Power over Ethernet for a single-cable installation and records at 1080p resolution. The unit ships new and includes a 30-day continuous video recording plan from the manufacturer.

Suits PoE installations needing rugged outdoor

Buyers who want a camera that operates without a wired Ethernet connection should look elsewhere. The AR4 requires PoE cabling for both power and data, so it does not suit locations where running a network cable is impractical. It also lacks any mention of local storage expansion, so users who need on-board recording redundancy cannot rely on this model.

PoE-powered 1080p bullet with IP66 rating

The defining specification is the Power over Ethernet interface combined with an IP66 weather-resistant enclosure rated from -40° to 140°F (-40° to 60°C). This single-cable design and wide temperature tolerance decide whether the camera fits the intended mounting site. Thirty-six infrared LEDs provide night vision, and 256-bit encryption secures the stream.

Questions about this item

What does 1.3MP mean for the recorded video?

The 1.3MP sensor captures 1080p FHD footage, giving clear detail for faces, vehicles and fire detection.

How does PoE affect installation?

PoE delivers power and data over a single Ethernet cable, removing the need for a separate power adapter.

What mounting clearance does the IP66 bullet body need?

The rugged housing withstands -40° to 140°F and powerful water jets, so it mounts directly on exterior walls or soffits without extra weather shielding.
