What It Is

The Amazon Basics NKK-004B is a six-foot black floor cord cover made from polyvinyl chloride with a self-adhesive backing. It creates a single rounded channel that hides cables and extension cords lying across walkways. The low-profile strip weighs 1.012 kilograms and measures 72 inches long by 2.6 inches wide by 0.6 inches high.

Who It Suits And Who It Does Not

The cover works well in offices, gyms, exhibition venues, schools, convenience stores and gaming areas where loose wires create trip hazards. Its rounded surface lets wheels roll over without snagging. Builders who need to protect more than one ethernet cable or two small power cords up to 0.35 inches in diameter should look at wider multi-channel protectors instead.

Channel Capacity Decides Fit

The single channel accepts one ethernet cable or two small power cords no larger than 0.35 inches in diameter. Cut the PVC strip to length with a utility knife or heavy-duty scissors to match any layout. If your installation requires larger bundles or multiple separate channels, this model will not accommodate them.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.012 kg cover include the adhesive needed to secure it to the floor?

Yes, the PVC strip is self-adhesive so no separate glue or tape is required.

Will the 0.35 inch channel accept the thicker power brick cables I already run?

How can I verify the rounded profile is sitting flush after I cut a custom length?

Press the trimmed section down; the rounded top should roll smoothly under wheels with no raised edges.
