24/7 Surveillance Monitor for NVR/DVR Systems

The Amcrest AM-LM22 is a 21.45 inch display built for continuous operation with security recorders. Its W-LED panel delivers 1920x1080 resolution at 60 Hz, 250 cd/m² brightness and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The 178° viewing angles and 6.5 ms response time keep footage clear from any position.

HDMI and VGA Inputs with Integrated Audio

The monitor provides both HDMI and VGA ports plus an audio input, letting you connect NVRs, DVRs or PCs without adapters. Two 1.5 W speakers handle sound directly, removing the need for external speakers in a surveillance station. The micro-bezel design helps when aligning multiple screens side by side.

Check Mounting Space and Signal Compatibility

The cabinet measures 19.4 x 1.5 x 11.2 inches and weighs 4.63 lb, so verify your desk or wall mount can accommodate that footprint. Ensure your recorder outputs 1920x1080 at 60 Hz over HDMI or VGA; the panel does not support higher refresh rates or other resolutions. Power draw is 24 W typical and 0.5 W in standby.

Questions about this item

Will the W-LED backlight need replacement after years of 24/7 operation?

The W-LED backlight is built for continuous 24/7 surveillance use; no user-replaceable parts are specified, so the monitor would be serviced as a complete unit if the backlight ever degrades.

What thermal limit stops the monitor from running indefinitely in a warm room?

The rated working temperature range is 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C); sustained ambient temperatures above 104°F would exceed the design limit.

How much heat and noise does the 24 W panel produce when left on all day?

Standard power draw is 24 W with no fan, so heat output is low and operation is silent; standby power is 0.5 W.
