24/7 Surveillance Monitor

The Amcrest AM-LM24 is a 23.8 inch display built for continuous 24 hour operation. It targets installers and businesses that need a dedicated screen for NVR or DVR feeds running without interruption. The W-LED backlight and 3000:1 contrast ratio are specified for long-term reliability in security rooms or home offices.

60Hz Refresh Rate for Surveillance

A 60Hz refresh rate with 6.5ms response time delivers a stable image for camera playback and live view. The panel covers 178° horizontal and 178° vertical viewing angles so footage remains legible from off-centre positions. This specification determines whether the monitor matches the output of standard 1080p recorders.

1080p Resolution and Dual Inputs

Full HD 1920x1080 resolution across a 16:9 aspect ratio handles single or multi-camera layouts at native pixel density. HDMI and VGA inputs connect to most recorders while built-in 1.5W dual speakers provide audio without external hardware. The 250 cd/m² brightness and 8ms grey-to-grey response limit suitability for bright daylight rooms or fast-motion analysis.

Questions about this item

Will 1080p at 60Hz look sharp enough for reviewing recorded footage on this 23.8 inch screen?

The 1920x1080 resolution on a 23.8 inch panel gives a pixel density that keeps text and facial details clear at normal viewing distances, and the 60Hz refresh rate matches standard surveillance recording frame rates.

What do the HDMI and VGA inputs actually support on this monitor?

Both inputs carry the full 1920x1080 at 60Hz signal; HDMI also carries audio to the built-in 1.5Wx2 speakers, while VGA requires the separate audio-in jack for sound.

How much desk depth does the 23.8 inch monitor need with its stand attached?

The unit measures 1.85 inches deep at its thickest point, so the stand adds minimal depth beyond the panel itself.
