3 MP window camera for indoor monitoring

The Amcrest Link AL-W301W is a 3-megapixel Wi-Fi camera that attaches to glass with Velcro templates for indoor surveillance. It streams 2304x1296 video at 15 frames per second and captures a 100-degree field of view. Two-way audio lets you listen and speak through the app. The unit requires a constant wired power connection.

Dual-band Wi-Fi and local storage limits

Connectivity uses 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless networks with H.264 compression. Footage can be saved to a microSD card up to 128 GB (Class 10 or higher, not included) or to the optional Amcrest Link Cloud service. The camera operates only with the Amcrest Link mobile app and is incompatible with the Amcrest View Pro app. Operating temperature range is 14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit.

3 MP resolution at 15 fps defines the detail level

The 2304x1296 sensor running at 15 frames per second sets the maximum image detail and motion smoothness available. Buyers who need higher frame rates or 4K resolution should look elsewhere. The fixed 2.8 mm lens and 100-degree angle cannot be changed. Cloud storage beyond the local card requires a separate subscription.
