Amcrest 3MP 1296P Wi-Fi Vandal Dome Camera

This Amcrest IP camera delivers 3-megapixel 1296P video at 20fps using an Ambarella chipset. It features a fixed wide 100° viewing angle and IR night vision up to 98 feet. The IP67 weatherproof and IK10 vandal-resistant housing is built for outdoor mounting. Wireless connectivity allows quick setup via the Amcrest View app on a smartphone.

Ideal for Fixed Outdoor Monitoring

This camera suits users who need a single fixed-position outdoor camera with high-definition recording and remote access. It supports storage to MicroSD, NVR, FTP or Amcrest Cloud. Buyers who need pan or tilt functionality should look elsewhere, as this model does not move. Those requiring NDAA-compliant components should also consider other options.

Fixed Position No Pan or Tilt

The defining specification is that this is a fixed camera without pan or tilt capability. It provides a static 100° field of view only. If your installation requires the ability to remotely adjust the viewing direction, this specific model will not meet that need. All other features depend on this fixed mounting constraint.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the REP-IP3M-956B and what must I buy separately?

The box includes one camera; a MicroSD card for on-board recording is sold separately.

Which resolution setting should I choose between 1080P and 1296P?

1296P uses the full 2304 x 1296 sensor at 20 fps for maximum detail; 1080P reduces vertical resolution but keeps the same frame rate.

What does the 98-foot night-vision figure mean in practice?

The IR LEDs illuminate up to 98 feet in total darkness; actual usable range depends on scene reflectivity and ambient light.
