Illustra 600LT 720P bullet camera

The ADCi600LT-B021 is a network bullet camera built for outdoor or indoor surveillance. It captures 1.3 megapixel video at up to 1280 x 1024 resolution using a CMOS sensor. The varifocal 3-9 mm lens provides 3x optical zoom for flexible framing. This unit suits installers who need a compact bullet form factor with H.264 and Motion JPEG streaming.

Installation notes and common issues

Mount the camera on a solid surface using the integrated bracket and run a single Ethernet cable for power and data via PoE. Focus and zoom are adjusted manually at the lens before sealing the housing. The most frequent issue is moisture ingress when the rear cable gland is not tightened to spec, so verify the seal after aiming. Ensure the NVR or VMS supports H.264 or Motion JPEG at 1280 x 1024 before commissioning.

Pre-order checklist

Confirm your recorder or software accepts H.264 and Motion JPEG streams at the camera's maximum resolution. Check that the site has a PoE switch or injector capable of delivering the required class. Verify the 3-9 mm focal range covers the desired field of view at the mounting distance. Buyers who need higher than 1.3 megapixel resolution or motorised zoom should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the ADCi600LT-B021 is recording at its full 1280 x 1024 resolution after installation?

Log into the camera web interface and confirm the active stream is set to 1280 x 1024 using H.264 or Motion JPEG; the live view should show a 1.3 megapixel image with the 3-9 mm lens adjusted to the desired field of view.

What accessories are included with the ADCi600LT-B021 and what must I source separately?

The box contains the Illustra 600LT bullet camera unit; you will need to provide a PoE switch or 12 V DC power supply, network cabling, mounting hardware for the surface you are attaching it to, and a recorder or VMS that accepts H.264 or Motion JPEG streams.

Which focal-length setting on the 3-9 mm varifocal lens should I choose for a 21 metre driveway?

Start at the 9 mm telephoto end for a narrow 21 metre view; if the scene is too tight, zoom toward 3 mm to widen coverage — the 3x optical zoom lets you frame the exact distance without moving the camera.
