Ceramic Pizza Stone 15 x 12 In

This ceramic pizza stone measures 15 inches by 12 inches and offers a .82 cubic foot capacity. It provides a solid, uncoated baking surface designed for oven use. The NSF certified stone suits home cooks wanting crisp crusts without professional equipment.

Oven Safe Solid Surface

The stone withstands oven temperatures and its solid, perforation free design supports even heat distribution across the cooking area. Being uncoated means no chemical layers contact food during high heat baking. Dishwasher and freezer use are not safe so cleaning requires hand washing only.

Capacity And Heat Limits

The .82 cubic foot volume handles standard frozen or fresh pizzas up to the 15 by 12 inch dimensions comfortably. It runs out of space for larger artisan loaves, multiple items at once, or grills exceeding typical oven widths. Buyers needing bigger batch capacity or outdoor grill stones should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the ceramic surface need resealing or special cleaning over time?

The uncoated ceramic is not dishwasher safe; hand wash only and avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking.

At what temperature does the stone stop absorbing heat evenly during back-to-back bakes?

The 15 by 12 inch ceramic mass holds steady heat for successive pizzas, but extended high-heat sessions will eventually saturate the stone.

How hot does the stone get and does it radiate noticeable heat into the kitchen during a long bake?

The stone reaches full oven temperature and radiates stored heat after removal; use oven mitts and allow cooling on a heat-proof surface.
