4K 8MP IP bullet camera

The AMLINK AL8M-B8199EW captures 8-megapixel video at 4K resolution and 20 frames per second. A 1/2.7-inch sensor behind an F1.6 aperture provides a 135.2-degree viewing angle. The bullet-style housing carries an IP67 rating for indoor or outdoor installation. Power over Ethernet simplifies cabling for home owners and small-business installers.

Upgrade from basic 1080p cameras

Replacing a 1080p unit adds four times the pixel count so faces and licence plates remain readable at distance. The jump is worth it when you need colour detail after dark instead of monochrome infrared footage. AI-driven human, face and vehicle detection reduces false alerts that waste review time. NDAA-compliant firmware meets federal procurement requirements for sensitive sites.

Sustained 4K recording with H.265 compression

H.265 encoding cuts bandwidth and storage needs roughly in half compared with H.264 during continuous 4K streams. A microSD card up to 256 GB can hold days of footage before overwriting. Dual illumination switches between white LED colour night vision to 100 feet and infrared when the scene demands it. Two-way audio lets you intervene remotely without latency spikes during extended sessions.
