Quadrille Pad for Technical Drawing

This Ampad quadrille pad delivers 50 sheets of 20 lb white paper ruled at four squares per inch. The glued top binding keeps pages secure while allowing clean removal. It suits engineers, students and drafters who need a reliable grid for hand-drawn plans or calculations.

Limits of the Four-Square Grid

The fixed 4 sq/in ruling sets the granularity of every sketch; finer detail or larger-scale layouts will not align with the printed lines. Blue ink on both sides of each sheet prevents smudging but cannot be erased or changed once drawn. The pad format offers no perforations, dividers or removable sections.

50-Sheet Count Defines Project Scope

Fifty sheets bound along the 8.5-inch edge give a finite amount of gridded surface before a new pad is required. Heavyweight 20 lb stock resists bleed-through, yet the total sheet count remains the single measure of how long the pad lasts for ongoing work.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 50-sheet pad or a larger count for my project?

This pad contains 50 sheets of 20 lb quadrille paper, glued along the 11-inch top edge with a 28-pt chipboard back for rigidity.

What does the 4 squares per inch ruling mean when I start drawing?

The blue grid gives you 4 squares per inch on white 8.5 x 11 sheets, printed on both sides so lines won't smudge or show through on copies.

How does the glued top binding work in daily use?

The gummed top edge holds all 50 sheets securely; you tear off a page cleanly along the 8.5-inch perforation when a sheet is finished.
